In heat, glue dries and pulls the skins and causes wrinkling. I’ve never seen fakes that were fully leather lined and IMO stamped correctly. The shoes exhibit damage from age and heat exposure but IMO they are authentic. I would not keep them, I would file SNAD and I would calmly neg the seller stating “Shoe had undisclosed wrinkles w glue loss From storage damage. They could even possibly rip because of this damage. When glue melts and dries the lining is going to pull from the outer leather of the shoe which weakens the outer shell. I believe you now understand that they are authentic but that they are damaged and that damaged was undisclosed. Your only error IMO was suggesting to the seller that they shoes are counterfeit. Ebay should side with you and you can contact them as you should NOT have to pay the return shipping and you should be fully refunded. I’m on your side OP and since it’s not the interior that’s bothering you IMO you have every right to file SNAD and clearly and CALMLY state that the seller did not disclose significant damage and wrinkling from age along with stains of melted glue.Remember to escalate your claim or it will jus sit there and not close in your favor. Right - good quality leather and sole even after 6 years Below - my 6 years old authentic Ferragamo shoes Left - wrinkle on leather, glue mark.

Below - my 6 years old authentic Ferragamo shoes Above - receive item. Serial number with glue mark Melting print Looks like from “ITALT” Above - receive item. But I just want to be careful in case he is not at fault.Ĭan anyone help me please? Thank you very much I am worrying he will use some excuse and not refund once I sent him back the shoes. I’m thinking to file a refund with eBay if this is fake. He will refund if I send him back the shoes and it is the original condition, but refuse to cover/refund the postage. He says fake shoes never has serial number (which I know it is not entirely correct). He said he cannot see any differences that I mentioned in my photo. Seller insists this is real shoes and brought from Paris. I compare this with my own Ferragamo shoes and I really think they are not from the same brand. The texture is bad - feels like a thin hard cardboard rather than any leather. I was excited about my new ferragamo work shoes and then now I think I screw it up.
